1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April ' , 2003 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> MMR Joint Land Use Stud —Proposed Resolution: <br /> Selectman Marsters abstained from discussion pertaining to the above <br /> agenda topic related to. zoning. <br /> Brian Nickerson, Planner for the Massachusetts National ward was <br /> present with the Town Planner to discuss the proposed Resolution <br /> regarding the MMR Joint Land Use Study. <br /> As part of the grant proposed by the Department of Defense to provide for <br /> the development of a Joint Land Use Study between the four Upper Cape <br /> towns and the MMR, a Resolution Agreement was presented to the <br /> Selectmen for endorsement. <br /> The Selectmen related concern with respect item#4 of the Resolution <br /> whereby the Town would commit to a good-faith effort to implement the <br /> JLUS (Joint Land Use Study) recommendations. <br /> It, as noted that the Tons of Falmouth and Sandwich have endorsed the <br /> Resolution as presented. The Town of Bourne set forth a condition that <br /> was not detailed in item#4 of the Resolution Agreement.
