5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 7, 2003 <br /> NEW BUSINESS. <br /> Refandinia of Outstanding Bond Issues: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town Administrator dated October <br /> 35 2003 regarding refunding the outstanding bond issues from 1993, 1997, <br /> and 2000. The refinancing would realize a savings of$213,530 the first <br /> year. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to vote that the Town shall issue <br /> refunding bonds under and pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 44, <br /> Section 21 A of the General Laws, oran ursuant to Other enabling <br /> p � <br /> authority,for the purpose of refinancing all or any portion of the <br /> bonds of the Town outstanding as of the date hereof, and also for the <br /> payment of any related redemption premium, interest east or cost of <br /> issuing any such refunding bonds. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> APP II TMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> Reciuest for Trnorr Licuor-License- 1toberfest; <br /> Due to quorum purposes the Selectmen agreed to invoke the rule of <br /> necessity having no apparent conflict of interest to approve the above <br /> temporary liquor license request. <br /> Motion Ornade by Selectman Cahalane to approve the request of the <br /> Mashpee Rotary Club to sell beer and wine at the annual to-clay <br /> oltoberfest celebration in Mashpee Commons,Mashpee. Bruce <br /> Fernandes, President of the rotary Club of Mashpee is the noted <br /> applicant and manager of said license. <br /> Motion seconded by-Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3- . <br /> t <br />
