Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 3, 2003 <br /> tepee Rotary Discussion: continued <br /> ., <br /> It was agreed that the Selectmen would meet with the Planning Board to <br /> obtain their input and to review in detail projects pertaining to Mashpee <br /> that are in the permitting stage. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin —Request to Place Si on Town Property—Sherwood <br /> 1 lortg_a e: <br /> Churn Leveille opened the Public Hearing on the application of Route <br /> 151 LLC for placement of a sign on Town property located at 400 Nates <br /> Ellis Highway, Mashpee. Joyce Mason, Town Administrator read aloud <br /> the Public Hearing notice as published. <br /> Representatives from Lay Sign Company were present to discuss the sign <br /> request. Photo's detailed the design and proposed signage placement for <br /> the Selectmen's consideration. <br /> 1t was rioted that at this tilne, Route 151 LLC has only 1 tenant, <br /> Sherwood Mortgage ge group. There is one vacant unit approximately 900 <br /> square feet that is not occupied. The sign as proposed is under code to <br /> accommodate the added feature of underneath signage. <br /> To complete the application, a certificate of insurance and signature of <br /> indemnification is required. <br /> Meeting minutes from the Design Review Cottee have reflected <br /> approval of the landscape plans that would surround the sign subject to <br /> mirror conditions. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept the application of <br /> Route 151 LLC for placement of a sign on Town property located at <br /> 00 Nathan Ellis Highway pending approval from the Design Review <br /> Committee, and Director of Public works regarding size and <br /> placement. The(1) sign is approved with the potential for one to two <br /> added signs underneath that shad not exceed the overall sign limit and <br /> will not effect any site lines in the road. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
