MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> NOVEMBER 8, 2417 <br /> 8 Cutlass Lane: Owner, George Pantazopoulos, Jr. requests a Special Permit under §174- <br /> 45.4 of the Zoning Bylaws for change in ownership of an existing permitted accessory <br /> apartment on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, (Map 90 Parcel 68), Mashpee, <br /> MA. <br /> Mr. Pantazopoulos represented himself for the request. He has owned the home for three <br /> months. I-Ie currently has a permit to do some interior renovations to the apartment. He is <br /> not changing the design, and he noticed there is no fire stopping, there are pipes running <br /> through the floors, and it's not up to current code requirements. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell stated that the Special Permit runs with the ownership, and the applicant <br /> wants to make it legal. <br /> Mr. Bonvie asked the applicant if he had any anticipated renovations. <br /> Mr. Mendoza said that if there are any renovations would be his responsibility. The <br /> applicant is not here to discuss building plans, he is here for a change in ownership. <br /> Mr. Bonvie read the Board of Health, Conservation, and Inspection Department comments <br /> into the record. <br /> There were no comments from the Board or audience. <br /> Mr. Bonvie made a motion to issue a Special Permit for the accessory apartment with the <br /> following conditions; The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions <br /> of a Special Permit under Mass General Law 40A Section 9. The Board has determined <br /> that the applicant meets all conditions for an Accessory Apartment under Section 174-45.4, <br /> specifically Item 1, of the Town of Mashpee Zoning Bylaws. Conditioned on all Town <br /> Department comments read into the record. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell second, yes. Mr. Furbush, yes, Mr. DeBarros, yes, and Ms. Sangeleer, yes. <br /> All were in favor of the change in ownership for the accessory apartment. <br /> 16 Bluff Avenue: Owner, William J. Peros requests a Written Finding under §174-17 of <br /> the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a 12' x 8' addition to an existing single- <br /> family dwelling on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, and Popponesset Overlay <br /> District, (Map 112 Parcel 93), Mashpee, MA. <br /> 16 Bluff Avenue: Owner, William J. Peros requests a Variance of the side yard setback <br /> under §174-31 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a 6' x 13' addition to an <br /> existing single-family dwelling on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, and <br /> Popponesset Overlay District, (Map 112 Parcel 93), Mashpee, MA. <br /> 4 <br />
