Inland Bank <br /> Mark Whelan, owner, was requesting to remove 7 trees and one fallen tree. He stated a <br /> professional tree service will be used. In addition, he requested that two more trees which <br /> were not listed in his narrative be removed. <br /> The Agent noted the trees to be removed on the photos provided. They are located in the <br /> outer fringes of the 100-foot.buffer zone to inland bank associated with the pond. He stated <br /> he went-out to the property and agrees the trees should be removed as well as the saplings. <br /> He recommended a negative determination. Mr. Whelan showed a.picture of the other two <br /> trees that he was requesting to be removed - two trees 4 feet apart close to the house. The <br /> Agent said he would work with the owner to revegetate the area with native plantings, shrubs <br /> rather than trees. <br /> No comments from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay a negative determination with the condition the owner work with the <br /> agent on revegetating with native plantings. Proposed demolition and <br /> replacement of pier, ramp and float within same footprint.4- RDA <br /> Resource Area: Ockway Bay, Land Under Ocean, Salt Marsh, LSCSP <br /> Mark Burtis, Little River Docks, represented the applicant. He stated the proposed project <br /> consists of removing existing 8 by 24 foot float dock and 3 by 16 foot gangway and removing <br /> (4) 4 inch pipe piling. They will be replaced within the same footprint with new aluminum <br /> gangway 3 by 16 feet, new conservation approved flotation dock 8 by 24 feet and (2) 8" by 25" <br /> diameter pilings, There will be better sunlight penetration. There will be proper identification <br /> at the end of the dock with the DEP license and address of the property. <br /> The Agent noted this is the only plan available and because there is no change in the footprint, <br /> he recommended a negative determination. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved a negative determination, seconded by Mr. Shaw.
