6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 6, 2016 <br /> Public Hearing: Private to Public Road Conversion of Windsor Way,Victoria Circle Saxon Drive <br /> Tudor Terrace and Sh ffield Place: (continued) <br /> Tom Murphy of 21 Sheffield Place indicated the roads were built in three different phases, Sheffield <br /> Place was built in mid-1990's others in the mid 1980's and others in 1999, and 2000. Mr. Murphy <br /> questioned the different levels of construction. Ms. Laurent states that core samples were conducted <br /> on all of the roads and similar conditions were detected. <br /> Malory Angler of 21 Sheffield PIace requested information regarding the repayment plan. It was noted <br /> that payments can be spread out over a 20 year period with interest at a rate of 5%. The betterment <br /> may also be paid in full to alleviate interest costs. Ms. Angler asked if there would be other benefits to <br /> homeowner such as a water upgrade. It was reported that Town water is supplied by the Mashpee <br /> Water District. The Town of Mashpee would plow the roads and provide any upgrade to the road <br /> areas. <br /> Being no further comment,the Board motioned as follows; <br /> Motioned made by Selectman Sherman to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed,none <br /> It was noted the deadline for the May 2017 Town Meeting warrant is the second Monday in February, <br /> 2017. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalan to accept the maximum potential cost of the project to be <br /> bettered; Spring Hill Estates$52.1,628.45. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> YOU: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed,none <br />
