MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 14, 2017 <br />The existing house was constructed in 1960 and is angled on the lot. The house is 12.9 ft. <br />from the right side property line. He said that Conservation Commission approved the <br />project and meets all flood zone requirements for a lateral addition. He is requesting the <br />Board approve the addition that will become a study and a bathroom. It will have a 6 ft. <br />cased opening into the living room. <br />Chairman Furbush read the Conservation, Board of Health and Inspection Department <br />comments into the record. <br />There were no comments from the Board or audience. <br />Mr. Blaisdell made a motion to approve the addition based on the following; Site Plan -- <br />Prepared for: Steve Cook, of 164 Captains Row, Mashpee, MA, J.E. Mr. Goldstein <br />seconded, yes, Mr. Furbush yes, Mr. Pittsley yes, and Mr. DeBarros, yes. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />156 Waterway: The Board to review a proposed change to the building design and <br />determine if considered a minor or major modification. <br />Attorney Kevin Kirrane supplied a letter and plan describing a recommended change to the <br />building design regarding the ongoing house project at 156 Waterway. The Board granted <br />approval for this house project and as the project was progressing it was recommended that <br />a roof deck dormer be created for the view of Nantucket Sound. It does not change the <br />location of the building, or the occupied square footage of the interior of the building. It's <br />basically an aesthetic change and does not affect the height of the building. <br />G <br />
