1 Commercial Street (formal _meeting) (continued) <br />Motion: Tom Fudala motioned to recommend approval, subject to handicap space being closest <br />space to the entrance or ultimately move to front if Planning Board approves for safety; that they go to <br />Design Review to get sign approved; and that the representations made in Attorney Brian Wall's <br />February 27, 2015 letter to the Planning Board regarding no balloons, flags etc. and other matters be <br />complied with. Mike said they met with <br />Town Planner and based on his comments have updated their Plan, which he provided to the <br />Committee. He said they are trying to move along as quickly as possible and they hope to get <br />information to be able to get back for formal review. Mike said the owners own a landscape company <br />they want to move from Falmouth; they live in Mashpee. They do construction work; landscaping; <br />plowing ---a full-service company. <br />• 5-7 year-round employees. 15-20 added in Summer for outside landscape work. <br />• Arrive at site 6:30 a.m.; leave V2 hour later for outside work; back at dusk; '/ hour leave site. <br />• Only Office manager and owners on-site full time. <br />• Not open for retail sales. Very rarely someone comes in—they do phone/email ordering. <br />• Gasoline and diesel storage on-site less than 50 gallons. <br />• Bays will do repairs. <br />• They have separation between brush pile/wood chips area. <br />• Store stone, bricks, grass on pallets. Bourne takes all their pallets so they don't have over 20 <br />pallets stored. <br />• Snow piling They said they have plenty room ... will use mulch/loam storage area. <br />• Lighting to be just on building; walkways; and garage doors. <br />• Some type of sign at driveway entrance and directional signs on building. <br />• In back when doing grading they could create a berm to soften noise so that is one of the <br />things they would consider. <br />• Might have some storage in mezzanine level in bay. <br />Committee Comments <br />Thomas Rullo <br />• Concerned about entrance and getting largest truck in there. <br />• Do template for Fire Department turning radius. <br />• Keep set -back from building so fire truck can get around building. <br />• Run fire lane ... no parking area. <br />Gl <br />
