TREASURER'S REPORT:
Budget to Actual Report: Mrs. Botsford stated that the Fee Accountant will be presenting the Fiscal
Yearend report for 2015 and the Fiscal Year 2016 budget this evening.
Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature
tonight are for the month of August 2015 and total as follows: $38,925.51 for 4001, $4,003.00 for
Section 8, $41,003.00 for MRVP, $39,498.16 for Asher's Path Apartments, and $8,574.05 for Great Cove
Community.
We have all residents paid in full at Homeyer Village and Asher's Path, but have one resident who hasn't
paid at Breezy Acres and one at Great Cove Community. Those two have been sent notices to quit. We
are 100% occupied at Great Cove Community and Breezy Acres. We have one vacancy at Homeyer
Village that we are still working on filling. I've requested an extension from DHCD on filling this vacancy.
We have one vacancy at Asher's Path that should be filled within the next week or so and we will have
one more at the end of the month.
Brewster management is going well. Things are very busy there with Capital Improvement jobs and a
new plan which Mrs. Botsford is in the process of doing.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES:
Mrs. Botsford stated she had mailed her report for August and had the following additions:
Carol's office is ready to have work started to move the location of the door. New office furniture
has been ordered and the painting and wall repair will be done in-house.
• I did the annual Affirmative Action Analysis — report is in your file.
• I've updated our website to include our report for the completed Fiscal Year 2015 Capital
Improvement jobs and I've posted our plan for Fiscal Year 2016. For 2015 we came in under
budget by $2,471.84 ($54,668.99 budgeted)
I've been working on a computer security policy which is drafted and will be put on next month's
agenda.
The annual mandatory data reporting for both Asher's Path and GCC have been submitted to
DHCD.
• We had a pretty bad car vandalism here at Homeyer Village. I asked for a quote for a security
camera for the parking lot (we are getting cameras in Brewster) and the cost will be
approximately $3,000 for the whole set up.
A short discussion ensued regarding the cameras and Mrs. Botsford will see about getting quotes and put
this item on the agenda for next month.
The chair then moved on to New Business so that Mr. Joy could leave the meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
a) FY2015 Yearend Reports and FY 16 Budget Approval, Mrs. Botsford had distributed the 2015
Yearend reports and the Fiscal Year 2016 budgets for 4001 and MRVP, including the salary
schedules. Mr. Joy began his presentation by reviewing the Fiscal Year 2015 Yearend report
which showed that we ended the year within $240 of the budgeted amounts. The board
members signed off on the Yearend Certifications. Mr. Joy started the Fiscal Year 2016 budget
presentation by reviewing the reserve worksheet and how that is calculated and by explaining
that the state is not allowing any increase to spending this fiscal year. Mr. Joy then explained
that DHCD had issued a new Executive Director Salary Schedule. He stated that, while Mrs.
