them to consider broadband as part of this study and if they could identify some funding <br />opportunities to bring broadband off of 28 and into the industrial park which should be <br />included in the report. <br />3. Email from Kristy Senatori dated April 14, 2015. Kristy's email stated they would be <br />adding language to the scope to include broadband recognizing that broadband may be <br />able to expand to the industrial park in the future. <br />4. New Business <br />1. Authorize EDIC Chair to sign any documentation that authorizes Clipper <br />Landscaping or their designees to submit for approval any plans or documents to <br />municipal authorities as related to the property located at 1.17 Industrial Drive Ext. <br />Tom stated that the proposed potential buyers of 117 Industrial Drive Ext have gotten to <br />the point where they are starting to file paperwork with the town for permitting i.e. <br />zoning, planning board, plan review. Toth said that FDIC is the property owner so we <br />need to have the members authorize them to present plans for that property to the boards. <br />Motion: Terrie Cook moved to authorize the Chair to sign any documentation that <br />authorizes Clipper Landscaping or their designees to submit for approval any plans <br />or documents to municipal authorities as related to the property located at IV <br />Industrial Drive Ext. Seconded by Robyn Simmons. <br />Following a brief discussion, Tom read the letter that the Chair will be signing. <br />Vote was unanimous 4-0 <br />2. Authorize EDIC Chair to sign any closing documents related to the sale of 117 <br />Industrial Drive Ext. <br />Tom Mayo explained that the potential buyer has expressed their interest in closing as <br />soon as possible without actually getting the permits in place. Tom informed the <br />members that there is one technicality and Pat Costello, Town Attorney, is working with <br />their attorney. There is some question on the insurance company's part that the <br />availability of Industrial Drive to the owner's of this property is not spelled out clearly in <br />the deed. Atty. Costello has researched this and is confident this is not an issue. <br />Motion: Terrie Cook moved to authorize EDIC Chair to sign any closing <br />documents related to the sale of 117 Industrial Drive Ext., seconded by Dino <br />Mitrokostas.
