i <br /> rt <br /> #� I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual Reports Mrs. Botsford presented the budget to actual report prepared by the fee <br /> accountant, and reviewed it with the Board, explaining the variances. Mrs. Botsford pointed out that the <br /> figures are based on last year's budget because DHCD just issued Budget Guidelines. Mrs. Botsford will <br /> be working with Mr. Joy to come up with a Fiscal Year 2815 budget and present it at the next meeting. <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the month of October 2014 and total as follows: $40,989.58 for 4001, $6,172.00 for <br /> Section 8, $30,006.00 for MRVP, $57,928.60 for Asher's Path Apartments, $8,212.58 for the Housing <br /> Assistance Grogram and $8,769.80 for Creat Cove Community. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported we have all residents paid in full at Asher's Path. We have one resident each at <br /> Homeyer pillage, Breezy Acres, and Creat Cove developments that have not paid their rent. The one at <br /> Horneyer pillage we have an execution for a lease violation, the one at Breezy Acres claims to have lest <br /> her money order and will get a replacement by the end of the month and the one at Great Cove has been <br /> served a 14 Day Notice to Quit. We have two vacancies at Asher's Path and are in the process of filling <br /> then. We are 100% occupied at Horneyer pillage, Breezy Acres, and Great Cove Community. <br /> motion was made by Ms. Allen and seconded by Mr. Shackett to accept the Treasurer's Report <br /> as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR"S REPORT&UPDATES: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated she had mailed her report for October but added the following: <br /> • Computer upgrades are being done, as allowed by the spacial funding from DHCD. <br /> 0 A special survey has been completed for DHCD with regards to the gaiting lists, as they prepare <br /> to go to a centralized gaiting list. <br /> • Budget Guidelines were issued today, with a % increase allowed. We have 45 days to submit <br /> the budget, so we will have to do it at our meeting in December. <br /> • MassNAHRO Fall Conference is Monday and Tuesday in Plymouth and I will be attending. <br /> • Thursday is the first meeting at DHCD for the working group I've been assigned to which is to <br /> address the requirement for housing authorities to do ar"annual plan. <br /> • As the MassNAHR Vice-President of Small Housing Authorities I've been asked to participate in <br /> meetings with DHCD to discuss updating the new Executive Director Salary Schedule which has <br /> not been updated since 2007. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Housing Assistance Program/CPC: Mrs. Botsford reported that she did submit their application to the CPC <br /> for another three years of funding for the Housing Assistance Program at $110,000 per year, for three <br /> years a copy of the application was provided to all members.) <br /> NEIN BUSINESS: <br /> DHCD Contract Execution —Amendment #2 to include Capital Improvement fork Plan soot; Mrs. <br /> Botsford reported that DHCD has issued the amendment to include the funding we will be receiving under <br /> our Capital Improvement Plan and special initiatives.
