There seems to be quite a <br /> lot of work that needs to be done to bring it up to an acceptable condition for affordable housing. <br /> Additionally, there would be less than 20 units of housing when done and that is something we <br /> reed to consider for future affordable housing development/redevelopment I don't think the <br /> property is something the authority would be interested in pursuing. <br /> OLID BUSINESS: <br /> Breezy Acres Expansion/Great Cove Community Update: Ms. Danner care to give-an updated report to <br /> the board. She stated that there have been a lot of roadblocks but we are stip working towards a closing <br /> in the net month or so. She elaborated on some issues with the inspecting engineer, utility companies, <br /> and needing a signed contract with the Architect. Things should start moving quickly soon, and she <br /> knows it's been frustrating and dragged out, but she is doing the best she can to meet all of the <br /> requirements for the lenders. Mrs. Botsford stated that there are several things that would need to have <br /> a final ok and/or be signed. After a short discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Laporte and, <br /> seconded by Mr# Shackett to give permission to Mrs* Botsford to sign any documents that <br /> need to be signed related to this project, after conferring with the board chairperson, with n <br /> need for anymore board votes. The motion carried. The board thanked Ms. Danner for her <br /> update. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Award of contract— Breezy Acres Sewer Extension Lift Station: Mrs. Botsford provided the members <br /> information regarding the bid for the Sew Extension/Lift station and recommends awarding the contract <br /> to Robert B. Our. After a short discussion, a motion was made by Ms. Allen and seconded by Mr. <br /> Laporte to award the contract for the Mashpee Housing Authority Sever Extension located at <br /> 570 Old Barnstable Road in Mashpee to Robert B. Our,the lowest,, responsible,and eligible <br /> bidder, in the amount of 3581,000.00. This award is contingent upon the MHA securing all <br /> funding for this project. The motion carried. Allen: Yes, Mr. Halpern: Yes. <br /> The chairperson skipped the next item and roved it to the end of the New Business Section. <br /> By Laws Update: Mrs.. Botsford reviewed the suggested changes with the board, which had been mailed <br /> out ahead of time according to the requirements of the by-laws. Everyone agreed that the proposed <br /> changes updated the By-Laws in accordance with what the members wished to have done. A m tlion <br /> was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Shacicett to adept the updated By-Laws <br /> drafted. The motion carried. <br /> Write offs year end 6130112 $1,1,375.50: Mrs. Basford explained that the amount of$11,375.50 needed <br /> to be written off of the books.
