Mr. Cavossa reported that he was advised that, of the five structures located at the site, <br /> MassDOT planned to use only one. Mr. Cavossa expressed concern about moving the four other <br /> structures since they were state owned. There was agreement that the State was responsible for <br /> the buildings and Mr. Barrett suggested the possibility of requesting an indemnification from <br /> MassDOT. The Chair;referenced 411 in the proposed agreement, but agreed that MassDOT <br /> needed to identify which building they would be using and remove any buildings that they would <br /> not be using. There was discussion about the usage and contents of the buildings. The Chair <br /> stated that,in addition to the agreement specifying what structure would be used,permission <br /> would be required from the Board prior to adding structures in the future. <br /> Regarding the description of the location and the road name, but Mr. Segura would look further <br /> into the naming of the road. Mr. Barrett inquired whether the location of the CDL training <br /> would be in the way of Mr. Cavossa. Mr. Cavossa responded that the location would not be a <br /> problem,though it did take up a lot of space. Mr. Cavossa noted that the training area utilized <br /> space limiting future potential use for salt or unloading of lumber. Chairman Laurent referenced <br /> the plan labelled"MassDOT Testing Area" and MassDOT's preference that they have exclusive <br /> use of the area. Mr. Cavossa confirmed that it had been working out with the State Trooper <br /> conducting testing,noting that he tested on nights and on Sundays, although hours in the <br /> agreement identified testing Monday-Friday, 7a.m.-8p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 7a.m.-3p.m. <br /> Mr. Cavossa confirmed that testing seemed to occur as needed. <br /> Mr. Barrett inquired about reference to an alternative site,preferred by MassDOT. Mr. Jack <br /> responded that there had been discussion about a possible relocation during the RFP process. <br /> Mr. Jack felt that it would be fair to notify MassDOT should the site location need to change. <br /> The Chair added that there was a provision for terminating the agreement with three months' <br /> notice. It was also noted that, should the Board of Managers agreement be terminated, then the <br /> notice would also apply to MassDOT. Mr. Cavossa noted that it was a benefit to offer CDL <br /> testing on Cape. Chairman Laurent expressed concern regarding added costs to relocate the <br /> testing. Mr. Barrett suggested the possibility of acquiring a cost estimate to relocate the testing. <br /> There was consensus to remove#3. <br /> Mr. Segura confirmed that the address was Building 33001 Generals Boulevard and the site was <br /> 18 acres, located at Joint Base Cape Cod. Mr. Cavossa stated that they were happy with the results and at the end <br /> of November had closed out with 567 tons of C&D processed at the site, 193 tons of which had <br /> been recycled and almost 2,000 tons of MSW brought in on Cavossa trucks.
