to <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 19,2012 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS &CQRRESPONDENCE: <br /> Shellfish Beds Reopened: <br /> For informational purposes, it was announced that shellfish beds have re-opened. <br /> Proclamation—Michael Horne: <br /> To honor Michael Horne, the Board agreed to remit a Proclamation to Michael <br /> Horne for his dedication to the Town of Mashpee Public Schools at a ceremony <br /> planned for the Thanksgiving Day football game. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cabalane to approve the Proclamation to <br /> Michael Horne as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Richardson,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman'Taylor,absent Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed,none <br /> LIAISON REPORTS: <br /> Finance Committee: A new member will soon be appointed to the Finance <br /> Committee. <br /> Schools: Michael Horne will be recognized at the annual Thanksgiving football <br /> game with a Proclamation to be submitted to Mr. Horne by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> School Committee member Scott McGee will participate in budget discussions in <br /> .the absence of the Chairman. <br /> Library: Next meeting, Tuesday,November 20'h, <br /> Waterways Commission: The Mashpee River dredge has hindered. <br /> Veterans Memorial Park: A fundraiser is planned at Dino's Sports Bar on <br /> December 15t; VFW Post to sponsor event to raise funds for five new memorial <br /> stones for recent Town of Mashpee Fallen Soldiers. Currently, funding has been <br /> secured to purchase two memorial stones to be installed by Memorial Day 2013. <br />
