License <br /> &Inspection Automation: (continued) <br /> It was noted the Town of Mashpee's IT Director is involved in both endeavors. <br /> With respect to the grant applications, there is no cost to the community and there <br /> is no financial commitment to the participating towns. <br /> Motion evade by Selectman Cahalan to provide local support to the grant <br /> applications as referenced and authorize the Town Manager to execute the <br /> local support document forms on behalf of the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Richardson,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Taylor,absent Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman)O'Hara,yes Opposed,none <br /> Cane Cod Volunteers Progrrarn: <br /> The Cape Cod Volunteers have scheduled a grand opening in Mashpee of its <br /> second Volunteer Opportunity Center. The event will be held at the Mashpee <br /> Public Library on November 27, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. <br /> The event will feature volunteering experts and non-profits seeking volunteers. <br /> Additional information can be found on their website: <br /> www.capecodvol-un.cei's.org. <br /> The Board of Selectmen indicated that many vacancies exist on town boards and <br /> committees and it has been difficult to gain participation. In addition to the Cape <br /> Cod Volunteer Program,the Mashpee Enterprise will be assisting the Town in its <br /> recruitment process by advertising and creating articles on volunteerism in town <br /> government. <br />
