'ty <br /> Innovation Ch llen ant Pro —Digital Re ionaligg ion: Permit License <br /> &Inspection Automation.: <br /> The Cape Cod Commission(CCC)has submitted(2) grant applications for the <br /> Community Innovation Challenge Grant program offered through the Executive <br /> Office of Administration and Finance. <br /> The first application is for the expansion of the electronic permitting,licensing <br /> and inspections program the CCC is currently undertaking. The second <br /> application is for unified messaging which could include voice, video and email. <br /> The grants would allow the CCC to provide more efficient services to towns at <br /> lower costs. Last year,the state awarded a$500,000 grant to the CCC for e- <br /> permitting with the partnership and support of all the Cape towns including <br /> Nantucket. <br />
