There is 15 cubic yards of fill involved. <br /> Mrs. Sons asked if the construction of the wall would be by band and was told <br /> it will be. She asked haw they would stay off the marsh grass. Mr. Gray felt <br /> the Commission will have to condition there will be mitigation to any disturbed <br /> marsh grass. There are places devoid of vegetation, half is very conservative, <br /> siltation fence would serve as a limit of work to protect the sensitive areas. <br /> Mrs. Simons questioned whether they would have enough room to work ifa silt <br /> fence was 1pstalled. Mr. Gray stated there is two feet between the closest <br /> int to where the silt fence is shown and it is hand work. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested he'meet with the landscaper before the work begins. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers suggested a silt fence up against a snow fence. This was agreed <br /> to by Mr. Gray. It is possible on an interim basis. <br /> Ms kik asked if this is out of the ACEC Mr, Sherman stated it would not <br /> make a difference to this particular project. <br /> . Gray advised the Conservancy Program has been notified. The wetland number <br /> is 58 and is under restriction. <br /> Mr. Sherman concurred with Mr. Gray about the wildlife Habitat* <br /> Mr. Gray advised the wall is -1 feet at the most; this is not a seawall and <br /> not subject to the normal ebb and flow of the tide. It will not require Chapter <br /> 91 licensing. <br /> Public comments were requested: <br /> DOROTHY STUDLEY: Lot 50, abutter. She asked how this is going to be ended off <br /> at her lot line and what access will be used to the site? <br /> Mr. Gray advised it is shown with a return and will disappear into the slope. <br /> Access will be between the two buildings to the Left of #44, looking at the <br /> water. The addition is on the north side. <br /> After discussion, the addition was withdrawn from the discussion. It will be <br /> the subject of a further filing. They were ordered <br /> to do a filing and no one appeared for the hearing. There is no apparent erosion <br /> or continuing problem. He suggested a negative determination with the understand- <br /> ing he will go back there this summer and look to make sure there is no erosion. <br /> This determination would have to be recorded. Mr. DiBiase agreed. <br />
