New Seabury has <br /> given permission to put in that snow fence, they will have to take this up with <br /> New Seabury. <br /> Ms Lannik agreed, this is not within the purview of the Com .s ion, <br /> i <br /> Virginia Landry advised the Association has the responsibility of maintaining, the <br /> beach* She asked to extend the hearing until she can speak with New Sbury. <br /> r. Sherman stated the Commission cannot issue without DEP amber and comments. <br /> Mrs. Landry suggested the fence be removed and stored for the summer. <br /> M . Sherman stated they would have to work that out for themselves. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers asked if the fence is placed to accumulate beach sand? <br /> Ms Litts stated they put it in to match a neighbor's who had put one in. They had <br /> no protection at all. They are trying to keep the sand back and allow the veget- <br /> ation to grow. Also, they rent the property and they were running through. Now <br /> vegetation is established. They had it up during the last storm and they noticed <br /> the job it did to protect the vegetation behind. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers suggested a staggered fence. <br /> r. Sherman stated. an Amended order rust reflect any accomodation. <br /> Ms Litts would go along with that 'but putting posts in and out would be difficult. <br /> They do get storms in August and it would be a problem for there to come down.
