They are working with the Board of Health on a new Title v system
which is beyond the 100 foot from the top of the coastal bask. There are two
amendments, one reducing the size of the shed and rotating it, and a gravel drive
to be in a relocated position. It is out of the jurisdiction of the commission.
Areas indicated in red are the proposed amendments. The shed is being rotated so
as not to obscure the view from the dining room,
Mr. Sherman advised he viewed it today and has no concerns. There in no erosion
potential. The revised plan, if the plan of record, will require a stamp.
Mr. Raymond offered to make the changes on the plan if the board deers it to be
necessary.
Mrs. Simmons pointed out the notice should be amended also.
Mr, Sherman felt the plan reflects the project satisfactorily.
Mr. Coffey asked the construction techniques of the pump house and pool overflow's
Mr. Raymond advised the pump house and patio will be wood construction and will
be on a block foundation. The overflow system will be allowed to stand until
disinfectants expiate to the atmosphere, overflow in the range of 18 inches
will 'be discharged into the leach pit. Asked if it will meet Title v Ground
Water Standards, he stated it will. They are ging into Highwood Water and do
not have a concern With wells.
Mrs. Simons asked how many trees would be lost around the deck area and was told
or 8. she asked if it would be easier to try to sage then if the work limit was
brought in to the deck line He did not think 'so. She asked if they would rind
if the commission conditioned that tree trunks be protected. Mr. Raymond had no
problem with that.
Mr. Coffey stated loss of trees would be a concern to be addressed in a revegetation
Plan. Mr. Raymond had a revegetation plan which was provided with a planting sched-
ule.
Mr. Sherman approved of the choice of shrubs and stated it is not a very suitable
area for wildlife now; this will be an enhancement.
Mrs. Simmons suggested, wi th foot traffic to the existing dock, a 4 X 4 foot plat-
fonn be placed to protect the crown of the bank.
