Conservation Commission <br /> Meeting of August 9, 1990 <br /> Page 3. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised there are requests for Certificates of Compliance that are <br /> accumulating and asked if the Comissioners would be willing to view some of <br /> the projects. Mrs. Simmons and Mr. Homeyer volunteered. <br /> There was discussion of the viewing of Conservation land on -weed a ds with the <br /> Conservation vehicle. <br /> letter has been received advising he will not be able t <br /> file, for personal reasons-, for some time, After discussion, <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to send a letter requesting the date of filing <br /> and advising he will be in violation if the Commission does not receive <br /> date within two weeks of receipt of the letter and he will be subject <br /> to a fine and/or removal.. . Unanimous vote <br /> G: Request has been received to allow the use of siltation <br /> fences for the haybale . Mr. Sherman agreed with this request. <br /> Motion rude and seconded that siltation fences are acceptable, <br /> instead of the haybales. <br /> WILLT LTSULLIVAN: Concerning the request for an amended order, Mr. Sherman <br /> recomended the amended order be issued upon Board of Appeals approval. <br /> i TO B D* <br /> i <br /> 1KCC ': handout distributed concerning what is happening in coastal <br /> lagoons. <br /> OFFS OF LAND:D: demo from Kevin Harrington was read. After discussion, it was <br /> agreed to take no action. <br /> THOMAS SMIM: A negative determination was issued, however, today Mr. Smith <br /> advised the abutter notification was never mailed due to an oversight. After <br /> discussion it was agreed notification is necessary under the town bylaw but <br /> requirements had been satisfied under the state. A letter to be sunt to advise <br /> he mut comply. <br /> tel; Motion made and seconded that due to a technicality the Determination <br /> is on hold. After Attorney General approval of the notification re-- <br /> qu.irernents, the ease is to be heard again and he must comply. Unanimous. <br /> ROBERT : Request for amended Order of Condi t .ons. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to amend the Order of Conditions to accept <br /> French Drains, instead of gutters. Unanimous Note <br /> ORDERS of CONDMO S ISSUED: David holden, Peter Sculos, Gayle Procopio, <br /> Walter Hay, Jr. <br /> Jam'_ - Revert for Certificate of Compliance: Mr. Sherman advised the <br /> dock is 80 feet long, not 64 feet; 6 feet wide, not 4 feet; with a 12 foot wide <br /> section at the base. Erosion is also evident. <br /> It was agreed the dock must be reconfigured to conform to the plan of record. <br /> Failure to comply could lead to assessment of a fine for violation of the <br /> Order of Conditions, Board of Appeals to be notified, • <br />
