The Board of Health inspected the property and determined the <br /> existing septic has failed. He designed trenches 231 long, 2' deep and 3' <br /> wide. Soil is going to be stripped in the shaded area and replaced with soil <br /> that has a percolation rate of two minutes per inch or less. They will strip <br /> dowry 5 ft. , take it off the premises and fill with clean sand and gravel . The <br /> topo shows the bank. When cut back,, they propose a 2-2-1/2 ft. high pressure <br /> treated wood retaining wall from where the tank is to tie into existing r toin- <br /> in wall . <br /> Mrs. Simmons advised there is erosion taking place on the street side and <br /> suggested a french drain. <br /> Mr, Pederson stated a planter is proposed net to the garage. <br /> 1r. Burns asked about an Oak and Tupelo tree and was told they cannot be saved. <br /> Sanitary codes require a 10 ft. perimeter. <br /> 1r. Pederson stated they plan to relands ape the whole area and put in shrubs, <br /> Mrs. Simmons asked for a copy of the landscape plan. <br /> Mr, Coffey asked if flow diffusers would work and was told there is not enough <br /> area, they would require 4 ft, of stone around and 440 would be needed for 4 <br /> bedrooms. Board of Health approval was received. They will pump and fill the <br /> existing cesspool with clean sand. <br />
