Conservation commission
Meeting of February 22, 1990
Page 2.
There are two areas proposed for the walkover structures; one off the third hole
tee and another mid-way on the fairway. The walkway will be kept to a, minimum
height of 30" above .c e in order to 'go without hand rails and it will be less
unsightly. They will plan t grass in areas now void of vegetation and wish to
put the lime of fencing on the beach side even with the extent of grass now.
Beach grass will be planted in the bald areas and under the walkways.
Ms Behrman asked if there was sand fence directly under and was told there was not.
She suggested one section underneath on the beach side. Mr. Zeppenfeld had no
problem with the Commission putting in the order of Conditions to continue ,the
strip behind the steps. He suggested some program in the Order that, when the
fences Fill up with sand, another row would be pint right behind it.
Nis Behrman suggested a. review procedure and. Mr. Zeppenfeld agreed it should b
reviewed yearly. It was agreed it should be reviewed seasonally, in the spring.
Mr. Zeppenfeld asked that they be at liberty to add another row of fencing,
Mr. Coffey referred to Popponesset Spit where concern was expressed with the use
of metal stakes; their being there as skeletons forever. Mr, Zeppenfeld agreed
a. wood stake would be acceptable, they would not want to use pressure treated wood.
Ms. Behrman stated she was pleased with the design,
. Zeppenfeld requested wording in the Order of Conditions to allow a. double row of
fencing. An amended plan to be delivered tomorrow.
To be closed upon receipt of amended plan at the next hearing and Order of Conditions
l Maya from that date.
7:45 BRADGATE BUILDERS, 80 Noisy dole Road, Continued hearing from January ll, 1990.
Jahn Falachi asked for an extension.
00 BATE BUILDERS, 81 Noisy Hole Road, Continued hearing from January 11, 1990.
It was agreed they should address both hearings together.
On January 29, Sa.rakumit Corp. made a proposal to the Planning Board incorporating
Lots 80 and 81 in a configuration with homes to be constructed on the other side
of the man made ditch getting them away from the wetland and flood areas, He met
with the Planning Board last night and this proposal will not go forward which
would have avoided the issue of the flood plan. Their proposal was to abandon
14 Lots on the southwest side of Doisy hole and in exchange they would receive
release from the covenant for lots 80 and 81 and lots 2 and 41 to be buildable
t the entrance of Route 130 and Park Place Roads
CONTINUED TO MAY 3, 1990 - 7:30 and 7:45 P.M. written Configuration to be received.
8:15 ROBERT MORTIMER for proposed stone rip-rap to replace existing deteriorated
concrete-block wall; proposed dock, ramp and float system to replace existing
dock at Lot 11 Captain's Row.
