York stated after a fertilizer application. <br /> Ms Behrman advised fertilizer, rainstorm, and then test. <br /> It was noted the fertilizer was applied on August 2 and samples were taken on <br /> September1 . <br /> Mrs. Simmons suggested a sampling be done before the commission males a ruling. <br /> It was noted the net application is scheduled for Enid-lune. <br /> a <br /> Mr. Coffey stated he did not feel he could make a judgement with the data provided. <br /> He would like ars analysis of what is going out,' after an event. York asked for one more data point within 30 days of fertilization. <br /> Concerningcosts, Mr. 7eppenfe 1 d stated he would ask Mr. Burden. If the Commission <br /> would allow them to pump into the sound .in the interim, it would help solve the ex- <br /> isting problem of water on the course. <br /> Mr. Coffey suggested not enforcing action against pumping for 60 days which would <br /> be the end of the rainy season; they could collect data and return late summer. <br /> Mr, Sherman stated the town should do the sampling. Mr. York agreed to assist <br /> with the sampling. A schedule of applications to be provided. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated if a fire hose is to be used for pumping, 'it should be placed <br /> 20 feet off shore. <br /> Mr. Zeppenfeld asked if the rip-rap with the pipe, proposed for erosion, was <br /> acceptable. <br /> Ms Behrman questioned the velocity and stated more detail information is needed <br /> on t-he size of the stones, configuration, and a narrative from Aubrey or someone. <br /> She requested a certification that this will work. <br /> Mrs. Simmons asked if it is possible they would cover it up during beach nourish- <br /> ment. <br /> Mr. Halpern asked how many gallons are discharged between on and off.
