Conservation Commission <br /> May 17, 1990 <br /> Page 6. <br /> 9:15 M3/151 REALTY TRUST for a Determination of Applicability on a proposal t <br /> install drilled e l l , casing, submersible pump and subsurface water service t <br /> seryice the building located on Lot D, corner of Route 151 and Ninigret Avenue, <br /> Dino Mitrokostas presented abutter receipts. He advised they are 4-6 weeks away <br /> from compl-etion.. They need a water source for the project. They purchased the <br /> adjacent let to accommodate this need. They wi 11 be 45 f eet from. the edge of the <br /> wetland. A 16 foot path of trees will be cut to put in the well . Hayba.l es are <br /> to be staked and a 4 inch layer of baric mulch spread on disturbed areas. <br /> Ms Behrman questioned the impact on the shallow pond. <br /> Mr. Mitrokostas stated they will only be pumping 3000 gallons per day and will be <br /> hooking up to town water,, when available in mid-1991 . The Beard of Health requires <br /> a 150 person well . Approval will be issued when the Commission acts. <br /> Mr. Sherman explained the bylaw requirement and stated if the Board of Health I*S <br /> awaiting a- wetland delineation, he will provide same. <br /> 1r. Mitrokostas advised he has a well permit. <br /> The necessity for a 16 foot path for the well was questioned. <br /> 1 . Sherman stated the inclined portion of the site should be revegetated. H <br /> suggested this determination be conditioned to hook up to town water as soon as <br /> possible. The path to the well and hook--tip can be conditioned. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue to dune 2 - 7:15 to allow resolution <br /> of -Board of Health issue# if resolved, to be acted upon at the May 31 <br /> meeting. <br /> 9:30 LITTLE RIMER BOATYARD, INC, for a Determination of Applicability on a <br /> proposal to do grading and blacktpping and the spreading of 3/4 inch Blue <br /> stone gravel at 15 Riverside Road. Richard Halpern stepped down. Bill and <br /> dohathan Burtis presenting. They have a berm permit with the DPW. Dross <br /> line has been blacktopped to within 100 feet of the water. They would like <br /> to tie in to areas one and two, Ernie Virgilio inspected the catch basin there <br /> and at letter was provided that it is adequate. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised because of the raised area, he sees no impact. <br /> Ms Bhrran stated one concern would be for any activity with fuel . <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a Negative Determination. Unanimous vote. <br /> 9:45 FRAIL CASSANELLI for the installation of a well , clearing i n the buffer zone <br /> to construct a 60 ft. X 75 ft. fenced in area, to be mulched at 11 Meado brook Rd, <br /> Abutter receipts were presented. <br /> Comments from two abutters were read into the record. Stanley P. Dembrow i i was <br /> opposed to the fence, in favor of the well . Edna R. Nickerson was opposed to the <br /> fence and in favor f the well also. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised the wetland delineation was given to the Board of Health. <br /> Performance standards were met. <br /> Thee were no comments from the public. <br />
