Chairperson Studley commented that the <br /> walkway is very lengthy. Charlie commented that the area had a lot of marsh <br /> before coring to the water. Peter asked if the marsh foods over at high <br /> tide? - Nor. Doyle commented that he has never seen it. Charlie commented <br /> that DEQE likes at least a 3 foot elevation -over the marsh. Chairperson <br /> Studley commented that the locus reap with the filing was not very clear. It <br /> was noted that there is an easement which would require permis ion from' <br /> New Seabury in -order to put the walkway in. The Commission requested that <br /> Mir. Doyle get a letter .in ,writing on the easement giving permission -to con-. <br /> struct over it. No further questions were asked, <br /> ft.. mob <br /> r <br /> Hearing of Norman Kastan, Dot 21 'fide Run, Mashpee, <br /> Mr. Doyle and ,Mr: Irving wing from Doyle Associates were present to represent <br /> the applicant in a request to construct and maintain a dock, 'two ramps, a <br /> boardwalk and a tloat and to constrict a three-bedroom dwelling. <br /> Chairperson Studley noted that 'the entire pro3ect is in the floodplain. She <br /> asked if they were proposing a cellar , Mr. Do ye- replied that there Would <br /> be no cellar. She asked how they were going to get to the 11 -foot flood- <br /> plain level. Mr. wing commented that the top of the foundation is at 1.1 feet. <br /> Chairperson Studley stated that she would Like to -know what kind of fill is <br /> going to- go in and how it would be confined. Mr. Doyle replied haat they <br /> are not going to be bringing in any material. Chairperson Studley commented <br /> that there would be seven Feet of foundation at the front of the house. She <br /> asked if any of that would have any fill around it Mr. Doyle replied that <br /> e was instructed to say that- there wa c going to be normal grading around <br /> he front o ,the housethat the driveway wound not be paved as they would <br /> se gravel stone. Peter Dormer mated that no driveway was shown on the plan. <br /> ommission asked Mr. Doyle. to submit a finished profile of the driveway and <br /> o show if they plan to. change contours at the front of the house. ai r- <br /> erson Studley noted that there was nothing -with the filing to describe what <br /> was being done with the foundation stating that there seems to be a lot of <br /> ootare with no fill. Pauline <br /> DeDory asked if abutters were notified? Mr. Doyle checked through this file <br /> 1 but did not reply., Chairperson Studley asked hoer the boardwalk would be <br /> fastened.
