bias.,4pee Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of June 8 , 1983 Page 3 <br /> Hearing of Alfredo Spe Tale, Lot 33 Birch way, mashpee <br /> Mr, Norman Grossman was present to represent the applicant in a proposal <br /> to construct a single-family it dwelling and aleck within 100 feet of Mashpee <br /> Pond. <br /> Mr, Grossman explained haat the deck and a small portion of the house come <br /> within 100 feet of the pond. He commented that there was no vegetation <br /> in the area to speak of, but he felt that the area was in the buffer zone. <br /> He stated that they plan to distrb the area from the top of the bank to- <br /> wards the roadhich is less than 1, 000 feet. He mentioned that the deck <br /> would be supported on pasts or columns. He said that the top of the bank <br /> was level with a pitch towards Birch way. The septic system will be 150 <br /> to 200 feet away. The well would be in the buffer zone, <br /> Bayne asked 1.s the house just makes the 1.00 foot mark Mr. Grossman stated i <br /> that from the wetland area to the deck, it is 85 feet and to the house, it <br /> is 90 - 95 feet. He told the Commission that they are limited to where the <br /> house could go as the lot next to theirs was not built upon. <br /> Wayne asked if it was g i ng to be stepped up from the garage by 3 Feet": He <br /> asked Mr. Crossman if it was going to be a walkout .in the back. Mr, Gross- <br /> man replied that it won' t -be a walkout as the existing ground is around <br /> 1.04 feet and that is where he plans to hold the grade. He said that there <br /> would be a slight step clown from the house to the garage where they plan t <br /> place two to three steps. <br /> Mr. Grossman reviewed 'the perk test information with the board, <br /> The Board reviewed DB ' s comments to check ground water elevation. <br /> Charlie asked if there would be a work limit lane. Mr. Grossman stated that <br /> he submitted a detail drawing that they would be using for a straw bale dike, <br /> No further questions were asked. The Commission issued an- order of conch..- <br /> tions. fir. Grossman asked that the original be sent to him so that he could <br /> handle the recording of the document., <br /> Superseding Order of Conditions <br /> Norma F. Kumin, Bayview Road <br /> The Board reviewed a superseding order of conditions issued to Norma F. <br /> umin by the D B. Chairperson Studley commented that no decision had been <br /> received from the Beard of Appeals and wondered how the building inspector <br /> could issued a permit <br /> alf Tide marina, Frog Pond Close <br /> he Board reviewed a superseding order of conditions for Half Fide marina, <br /> he secretary wa- asked to check with the Board of Appeals for a decision <br /> ascan Continuance <br /> t the request of r.. John Doyle, the commission issued another continuance <br /> or the hearing of Dr. Norman Kastan of Lot 21 Tide I un 'unt i 1 their next <br /> eeting of July 13, Evidentally, the information requested by theCommis- <br /> ion could not he obtained for tonight ' s hearing. <br />
