Peter Durmer told <br /> Mr. Cohen that the Commission takes things into consideration before ap- <br /> proval. However, Chairperson Studley stated that the Commission must take <br /> each case on its merits as it cores before them. Chairperson S tludley asked <br /> Mr. Cohen to write the Commission a letter stating his concerns so that it <br /> will be on file. Mr. Cohen mentioned that as an abutter he was not noti - <br /> fied of the hearing by the owner <br /> Cease and Desist Order James Haggatt, Lot 8 Godfre oa <br /> The Commission issued a cease and desist order for James Haggatt' s property <br /> .located at Lot 8 Godfrey road upon a motion grade by Charles Buckingham who <br /> moved that a cease and desist be issued. The motion was seconded by Wayne <br /> Tavares. All present were in favor. The Commission reviewed a letter from <br /> Mr. Haggatt stating that he intends to file for a new order of conditions. <br /> �■i iYi it#! <br /> Letter from Joel A. Lerner, re: Ma.kepeace/Wil ■+ les <br /> �ayyaraari�Yi•pW.� +� Yi1�i�IP11 ■ - IY�W■I� •/ <br /> The Commission reviewed a Letter dated May 25 from Mr. Lerner stating that <br /> he was sending the Commission a response from the Dept. of Fisheries and <br /> Wildlife with reference to the Commission's management plan for the lake- <br /> peace/Wil joles property. As Mr. Lerner failed to enclose the response from <br /> the Dept. of Fisheries and Wildlife, the secretary was asked to write to <br /> him. <br /> Letter from Dr. Charles Mann <br /> The Commission reviewed a letter dated May 27 from Dr.. Chasles Mann to <br /> Joseph DiGiovanni , Chairman of Triton Sound - keen. Council. The letter <br /> was in reference to the restoration of the beaches and shoreline on T iton <br /> Way. <br /> Letter from Chris- Kue]rler, New Seabr <br /> In a letter dated June 1 , Christopher Kue ler listed detailed information <br /> of how New Seabury proposes to maintain a program of seaweed removal from <br /> the beach area running in front of the Popponesset Inn and the Beach and <br /> Cabana clubs. . Charles Bucki-ngham roved that it be allowed and that they be <br /> cautioned to stay as clear from the beach grass as mechanically possible. <br /> March second Charlie's motion and stated that they be notified to stag be~ . <br /> law the high water mark and that the work has to be done before 8 a.m. All <br /> present were in favor. <br /> Grants From the Small Business Administration <br /> The Commission reviewed a letter from the department of -Environmental <br /> Management regarding a grant from the Small Business Administration to do <br /> landscaping and other beautification projects which was forwarded to them <br /> y the Executive Secretary. No action was taken. <br />
