He
explained that the dei was put on in the rear of the house and that the
shape of the deck follows New Seabury' s 50 foot cons ervat i-ox easement.
He said that once it was brought to their attention, they remembered that
the deck was not allowed under the original carder. The original order of
conditions was reviewed with Mr. Tones which stipulates "no deck allowed".
Pauline commented that she did an -site inspection and noticed that the
clearing of the lot was done right down to the easement* Mr. Tones com-
mented that that may have been done in con3unction with the pool.
March Dardano recalled that when Mr. Glick applied for the pool on the
property, it was to be a choice between the deck or the pooh.. The Board
reviewed the'-- filing for the pool and no deck was shown on the plan.
Mr. Jones said that he did not handle the filing for the pool. It was
also noted that the corner of the house was angled on the plan submitted
with the pool and different on the plan being submitted for the deck.
Pauline told Mr. Jones that when a filing is made with the Conservation
Commission, it becomes a legal document and it is supposed to show exact
measurements.
Hearing was taken under advisement.
Quas hnet Valle Count y_ l ub
Tom Devane met with the Commission and reiterated ghat was discussed at
the last meeti g with reference to the plan for the Quashnet Valley Country
Club being changed to push several holes into the uplands. He said that it was their under-
stading that the town would rather have a lana swap .instead of ars easemne t
which is okay with therm.
He asked for the Commission' s endorsement of the project. Pauline suggested
that he explain it to the town at town meeting of September 12 just as he
explained it to the Commission. He a.s].'r-ed what the town was to gain: r.1r. Devane ane e: plained that
they cannot do anything 100 feet on either side of the river; however, the
piece of land would be a place where the people could fish and the Audobon
Society could use the area as they have already been doing.
