mutes of conservation commission <br /> Meeting 4 <br /> November 1 , 1983 page <br /> continuance of George Manda los S 43-30 3 <br /> 260 <br /> rosstree -- Mr. John Doyle was present to represent the applicant. <br /> He explained that the plans for this project were brought before New <br /> seaburys architectural review board and they turned the building down <br /> because it is to high* He asked the Board for a continuance* The Chair- <br /> person <br /> hai - <br /> erson asked if he requested a continuance until December 14. Mr. Doyle <br /> replied "yes" . Charlie roved to continue the George Mandalos hearing <br /> until T ecember 14. March seconded the mot ion. l n favor <br /> Continuance of Joseph Mazzarella, 183 Tip berlane s 43-314 <br /> Mr. Doyle was present to represent the applicant. He explained that plans <br /> were submitted to the commission on Nov. 2 showing proposed alterations <br /> and grade as well as a profile plan showing foundation and design. He <br /> said that hair bales would be placed along contour 58 and that the owner <br /> had assured him that the driveway would be stone and gravel. Charlie com- <br /> mented that the Board wanted to know if. there would be a walkout area in <br /> the ]pack. Mr. Doyle said that there would be no patio at this time and if <br /> e decides to construct onei he would come back to the Commission. Charlie <br /> said that he was satisfied with the plan with the revis ions. No further <br /> questions were asked by the Board. <br /> uearing o "ii Harary, 39 Wheelhouse Lane T43-313 <br /> fir. Milli am Warwick was present t represent the applicant. e explained. <br /> that an or ter of conditions was received for this particular lot under the <br /> name of ioseph Tarabelli , which never materialized. 'Lie told the Board that <br /> the lot has ince been sold ani the design of the house has been charged <br /> along wll%.---h a pro csed d ition of a pool. mr. Warwick said that they dug <br /> another test pit and that they found ground water at 10 feet below eleva- <br /> tion zero. <br /> Mr. Warwick said that the resources they would be involved with were land <br /> subject to flooding which includes everything below the 11 foot contour <br /> and salt marsh, which abuts the lot. He explained that the land subject <br /> to periodic flooding is located on the adjoining property 33 feet from the <br /> nearest point to the proposed projects swimming pool. There would be no <br /> alteration of the flood area nor would there be any alteration of the grades <br /> at the pool. A retaining wall would be built and the pool would be within <br /> that retaining wall. A deck would them be built around the pool. <br /> Chairperson to ley asked how 'tall the retaining wall would be Mr. Warwick <br /> said that the top elevation would be at six and the bottom would be at five. <br /> Charlie asked if there would be a crawl space. Mro Warwick replied that <br /> the house would have a crawl space foundation as indicated on the plan. <br /> He said that it was in the floodplain and is required to have a floodplain <br /> foundation. <br /> i � <br />
