r <br /> Meeting of January 25, 1984 <br /> ,Conservation Commission Page <br /> James Gauger, 8 Frog Pond Close - SE43-327 <br /> The commission reviewed the plans of James Cauger to construct a single- <br /> family residence, to do minor grading in the vicinity of the house and <br /> driveway and to construct a five foot wide elevated wooden stairway from <br /> the top of the bank to mean high water on property located at 8 Frog <br /> Pond Close along Santuit River* <br /> The following Order of Conditions were issued: The work shall be accord- <br /> ing to plan #513783 as submitted to the Commission. No work shall be done <br /> on the stairway until. the Commission has a completed cross section of the <br /> stairway project and materials to be used. No equipment is allowed within <br /> 15 feet From the top of the bank. Hay bales shall be placed along the 3 <br /> foot contour, which is the work limit line. The well and septic location <br /> shall be exactly as shown on the plan submitted. Any change must be brought <br /> to the Conservation Commission. <br /> George andalos, 260 Crosstree Way - SE 3-309 <br /> Plans for the project of George Manda los at 260 Cross tree way were again <br /> reviewed. The following order of Conditions was issued: The septic system <br /> shall be in accordance to Title v of the State Environu ental Code and the <br /> Town of Mashpee Board of Health Rules and Regulations, All materials show- <br /> ing clay, peat or impervious materials shall be removed down to clean <br /> gravel or sand and are to be replaced with washed clean coarse sand. No <br /> other construction is allowed on the deck or the pool until the Commission <br /> receives the following information; a cross section of everything alone <br /> with proposed grades, elevation of. pool, elevation of deck, construction <br /> of deck and construction of pool and pool Fence. Effects of vegetation are <br /> to be shown, No heavy equipment shall be used, The proposed wind energy <br /> structure is denied. <br /> Check--Off List <br /> Wayne Tavares suggested. that the Commission formulate a cheoJ -off list for <br /> applicants applying for permission to work within the 1. 0 foot limit lime. <br /> He said that the list should request that plans -include proposed grades , <br /> existing grades, areas of limited work, retaining walls and materials to be <br /> used, what vegetation is to be replanted on pans being disturbed, etc. <br /> Jean Thomas suggested that plans also show assessor' s lot and map numbers. <br /> The Board agreed to set aside time at their next meeting for this purpose. <br /> Article Requesting $1=00 <br /> The Commission reviewed a letter from the Executive Secretary dated 1/19/84 <br /> stating that the Board of Selectmen received the request to insert an article <br /> on the February 27 special town meeting warrant to appropriate $10,000 for <br /> the Conservation Fund. Chairperson Studley told the Board that since that <br /> time, she ret with the Executive Secretary and agreed that this article <br /> should .appear on the annual town meeting warrant. She also commented that <br /> it was up to the Commission to submit an article even year for appropria- <br /> tion to the Conservation Fund, which was different From what the Capital <br /> Program Committee had advised last year. The Executive Secretary mentions <br /> in his memo that the Capital Program Committee and Selectmen support the <br /> article. <br />
