Mr. <br /> Maxim discussed the shellfish situation and presented photographs , <br /> He said than there would be 'about 1-P of water at low-water, <br /> The principal shellfish :5-ecies is mussels , No appreciable clams . <br /> n the opposite side (where the Town landing is are appreciable <br /> sets of clams. There are some blue-shell bra.bs and occassionally <br /> scallops <br /> David Brant of the APCC expressed concern that the dock is in a <br /> vrr shallow area and the expected impact and also the practicality <br /> of a dock in such shallow water. <br /> Jim Connor, a resident of Monomoscoy Island commented that for the <br /> past several gears he has not been able to pull his boat into that <br /> area at all even though his boat only draws three feet of water. <br /> He also expressed great concern for himself and other residents of <br /> the area that "big docks bring big boats' and that there are several <br /> of over 35' . He said that any shellfish are doomed if bows that <br /> , size keep using the river. "You can see the seed wash up when <br /> boat that size goes down the river.
