Jacobson expressed concern with the cutting -that.-has been-,done-as -Beech trees <br /> have been out and dropped i ntd the wetl and .and .wi I I -have lo be -rived by hand. <br /> She further stated the work limit is too far forward .acrd should be roared. Mr. <br /> Lundgren stated this was agreeable. It was ls-o -stated -there should be no farther <br /> removal of trees, <br /> TAKEN UNDERADVISEMENT. <br /> Barnstable Holding Co. A variance will be requested from the Board of Health re the side- <br /> line <br /> ide- <br /> 1irye as shown on the plan. Hay bales are proposed. Four drywel l s at each <br /> o ner* of the dwell *rig. Driveway is to be of pervious type material . <br /> Mr. Sarni ki stated, if necessary, the well can be hand driven An 8 foot path- <br /> way is proposed to allow a rig entrance. Trenching for the water 'line can be <br /> by hand. The service line i s 42 feet from the Douse and between bay bales and <br /> the well point is 30 feet. Hay bales in a semi-circle are proposed below the <br /> well point area. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated with the steep slope more protection would be afforded by <br /> a siltation screen with hay bales . Mr. Sanicki stated this was agreeable. He <br /> further* stated a 15 foot work limit around the house would be acceptabl eS <br /> The Chairman called for comments from abutters. <br /> Robert Maxim started the part of the pond involved-has a depth of -about .5 feet. <br /> He stated his concern with nutrient loading at that end. Water_qualifty studies <br /> e <br /> have shown some aspects of the nature of the pond with respect {to ;that represent- <br /> ing <br /> ing a recharge area. His concern is with the condensing effect of so many houses <br /> on such small lots. e cited the concentrating of a steep slope, very poor soil <br /> and the number~ of septic systems much closer than 150 feet set back. The impact <br /> will be felt 10-15 years from now.' The slope indicated where everything moves <br /> from that point and the pond represents the ground water -table which is where <br /> the septic will go. <br /> Ms Behr an advised these concerns should be brought to the attention of the <br /> Board of Health, <br /> John Malone stated these two lots are on a cliff and once anything hits -a ground <br /> layer of impervious material it will go right along to the pond, These lots for <br /> the past 15-20 ,years have been considered to be unbu i l dabl a and stip should be. <br />
