The plan showed 60
feet total , however in adding the proposed lengths of 20 feet for the walkway,
20 feet for the dock and another 28 feet, not including the ramp, the figures
do not coincide.
Behr an questioned what is proposed for walking access . John Varkonda advised
at a Board Appeals hearing , he had expressed his concern about erosion going
down to where the steps had been and recommended a wooden apron with some veget-
ated material along the Side to stabilize it. He states= he did not see an environ-
mental
n ir n-
mental impact a-s long as there is an apron.
. Bay l og agreed to recalculate the total length of the dock, including the ramp
and provide the commission with revised plans . She also a r ee to include the
apron.
It was noted the draining of the Jacuzzi and swimming pool is causing erosion.
It was suggested a letter to this effect be included with the order of Conditions .
!s Bay l og agreed to mention this to the Gl icks also.
HEARING CONTINUED UNTIL PLANS ARE SUBMITTED, AT WHICH TIME THE HEARING N WILL BE
CLOSED AND AN ORDER of CONDITIONS ISSUED .
8: 15 - Ronald Hilton J.T. Thompson & Son) . Request for determination of appl ie-
ab-i 1 i ty on a proposal to remove the existing roof of the dwelling and adding a
second story at Lot 9 Flog Pond Close.
John advised an enforcement order has been issued ori this property. Pi tores
were presented to the commission. Mrs. Hilton has stated there is an order of
Conditions for the project, but John was unable to find a record in the files .
They are dumping a large amount of fill excavated from the cellar directly onto
coastal bank and into the wetland.
Mr. Thompson advised the commission that the work they are doing now has nothing
to do with the project in this request. Mr . Hilton is having a new septic system
installed and the foundation refurbished and he is not involved. Bob Gonsalves
is the builder.
The commission was in agreement that with an enforcement order outstanding , a
positive determination would have to be issued whether or not Mr . Thompson i
involved.
It was noted if there is an existing order of Conditions, this could be added
as an amendment. They would still b -learly in violation.
Mr. Thompson asked that his request for determination of appl iabi 1 ity be with-
drawn
ith-
drawn until the matter is cleared up.
REQUEST FOR DETERMINATION o f APPLICABILITY WITHDRAWN
