Conservation Commission <br /> Meeting of February 5, 1987 <br /> Page . <br /> John stated a memo was submitted to the Planning Board dealkng with power boats <br /> and requested as a condition for their amended special permit that no motor 1 zed <br /> watercraft be allowed. <br /> It was noted it 11 1 be necessary to rad ert i se the continued hearing . <br /> 8930 - Jamie Regan (Cape & Islands surveying) Request for determination of app- <br /> licability <br /> pp- <br /> 1icabi1ity to install a new leaching fa i1ity, cons truest ion of a single am i 1 <br /> residence at lot 8 Punkhorn Point Road. John sl a i nsky presenting . When Punk- <br /> horn Point was developed there was a 66 foot strip along the edge of the lots <br /> that abutted .the marsh and the wetlands . There wi 1 1 be no construction i thin <br /> 100 feet of the edge of the bog . <br /> John stated the deck is 109 feet, house 113 feet. nY two stakes were there. <br /> He questioned the extent of clearing . <br /> Mr. Regan stated he did not wish to disturb the natural vegetation. He s to ted <br /> they plan to blend the house, as much as possible, in a large hole on the prop- <br /> er t y. Vere are blueberries and cedar trees that he hopes to retain . The house <br /> has a walkout basement and he proposes to clear from the deck level . <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated no clearing can occur forward of the house. <br /> Mr. Regan stated he understood and that is why the house is sited there* He <br /> noted when he purchased the property there was sorra pruning work done. If he <br /> returned for a pool , it would be h i s intent to keep it in the hole. <br /> VOTE: E1 1 i o t Rosenberg moved for a negative determination. Seconded & Voted . <br /> Unanimous. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> - David C. Harrington (Cape Cod Landscapes) To replace existing retaining <br /> a 1 1 s and landscape with plant materials at Lot 7 Janes Circle. David Harrington <br /> acting as agent for E. Govoni , owner of record. This is an as-built . Abutters <br /> receipts were presented. <br /> The walls that were replaced were 1 -1/2 foot smaller than the ones put up. The <br /> project w s stopped mid-summer. <br /> Ms Behr-man pointed out there are no measured set backs from the edge of the water <br /> end no contour 1 i nes on the plans presented It was questioned whether D EOE would <br /> accept the plans. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated the water is 12 feet from the via 1 1 , The landscaping has not <br /> been done, only the wa 1 1 s. Most of the lawn area was torn up during construction . <br /> The wall consists of Wolmarized 6 x 6 ' s . The steps are pressure treated and are <br /> already built. <br /> Ms Behrman requested a plan wwth dimensions of the wa 1 1 s , height, setback of <br /> individual stps , an engineering d ra, ing of the steps existing and planned - <br /> and <br /> 1annedand g round elevation on the topography. <br />
