Mr . Wi tkus presenting . Proposing 'to build a four bed- roan house with access from Cayuga Ave. Ms Deh rman asked if the elevations were being changed . Mr . Wi tks stated a l l ttl e site work as possible is planned . After discussion i t was agreed it was a very steep lot requiring a lot of ec- ca a t i on and contour changes . The house comes within 1 feet of the resource area and concern was expressed for the steepness of the bank and proximity to a shallow pond. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to issue a Positive Determination to John Witkus , Lot 119H Cayuga Ave. 9:00 - Mashpee Shores Realty Trust - Continued to March 19, 1987 at the request of the applicant. 9: 15 - Daniel Hostetter (ESC/Cape Cod Survey) Rehabilitation of Previously cult- ivated ult- igrated c ran-ber ry bogs at Quinaquisset Ave. Edward Donnelly presenting . Permission is requested to rehab a series of cranberry boys south of Ouinaquisset Ave. with three exceptions on the bogs north of Ouinaquisset. They expect to use the min- imum level of machinery to effect the rehab, when possible hand tools will be used . on bogs substantially overgrown, it wi 1 l be necessary to strip back the top layer of peat, remove woody vegetation and relay peat layer and plant. The 0 vegetation removed � i 1 l de chipped with large stumps removed from the site. It is proposed to create two holding ponds at the southerly extreme of each chain of bogs in order to effect a control should the bogs have an appl i cat on of herbicides or fertilizer and an unexpected rainstorm occurs . That would hope to trap some of the residues in these ponds prior to having thea flush out 'into shrub swamp and down into Popponesset Bay . Abutters receipts will be presented to the Commission on Monday. Mr. Hostetter stated they are aware there will be flumes at each section to hold back water. Ms. Eeh rrna n requested an amendment with a description and location of the flumes . During the on-site, additional locations were sited for berms . A marked-up print was presented. -The retaining walls requested were pointed out-, One on the extreme northern end where golf carts wi 11 be crossing the i Gees , 18th hole on the westerly side getting to the 18th green , an earthern bean around the back side of the 18th green to contain run-off, on the south side retaining walls on either side of the berm at the 1 1 th tee and an 8 inch corrugated pipe will be installed under the existing way south of the 13th tee. Ms. Berman referred to an existing pipe under the cart path and suggested it would be advisable to modify the Notice of Intent to provide maintenance for'r it ..
