Mashpee conservation Commission <br /> Meeting of June 4, 1987 <br /> Page 4. <br /> Mr. Clark stated all debris is to be removed promptly and construction materials will <br /> be stored road side of the house. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg questioned the elevation of the pool and deck. Mr. Clark stoted floor <br /> elevation is 11 .5 and the pool and deck will be 11 . They do not want to dig deeply <br /> to put the pool in. <br /> The Architect stated Enos t of the pool will be above grade with only a part below. <br /> The pool will be 4 feet Grp to 7-1/2 feet deep. <br /> ,John stated th 1 i 1 l require an extensive amount of fill around to support i t. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated the 4 foot. level is at a contour of 6 and this brings it up <br /> to 10 and the topo-f the pool at 11 which means at the highest ground level a foot <br /> of fill will be required. <br /> It was noted this is a Gunn i to Pool and will be 8 inches thick, <br /> Mr. Clark stated he will provide a modified -plan. <br /> Ms Behrman advised it has beer' pot icy of the commission to request certification <br /> on the engineering that the side of the pool w it l not collapse. This should be <br /> brought to the building inspector for review and his assurances received the pool <br /> will not collapse. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg questioned the nearness of the easement with regard to impact from <br /> the retaining wall . Mr. Clark stated fiire feet. Mr. Rosenberg further requested <br /> specs on how the deck will be put in and how the work will -be done. M r. Clark agreed. <br />�HEARING CONTINUED TO JULY 21 1987 7: 45 p.m. <br /> 8:45 - David L.evei l le (Doyle Engineering) Request for Determination of Applicability <br /> on a proposal to construct an addition to an existing house; sewage system upgrade and <br /> regrading and replanting at Lot 84 mariner Lane. John Doyle presenting . The property <br /> has two existing cesspools and they are requesting to put in 'a flow diffuser system <br /> which would be more shallow. <br /> Ms Deh rrna n asked i f plans had been submitted to the Board of Health and M r. Doyle <br /> advised they had not. He stated i t is being look at as a betterment. <br /> John advised this is only 51 feet from another well and a variance will be required <br /> from Title V. <br /> M r. Doyle stated h had answered the question and a s , if necessary, this would require <br /> another visit to the Boa rd he wished to proceed with his presentation. The set- <br /> back to the water is shown crossing a travelled way. It is proposed to place hayba 1 es <br /> to prevent s i 1 tat ion. <br /> John stated an on-site was done and the area is flat. 'From the edge of the flow' <br /> diffuser they are 73 feet, house and 87 feet. With the work 1 imil for this project <br />(qualified) his recommendation would be for a Mega t i ire Determination. If there are <br /> substantial changes , this would be negated. <br /> r. Rosenberg suggested continuing the hearing unt f l information is received from <br /> the Board of Health. If there are no charges. , a Legative Determination could be <br /> issued -immediately . <br />
