MINUTES July 2, 1987 CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> 8;25 John Bolger -- 520 Triton Way <br /> . Varkonda stated the property has been sold and Mr. Bolg is <br /> Engineer is reque8ting a re-issuance of the old "Order of Conditions" <br /> in the new owners name. <br /> VOTE: Motion +made and seconded for authorization to Conservation officer, <br /> John Varkonda,, to alter the front sheet on the "Order of Conditions" <br /> o read the new owner of the property on 520 Triton Way. <br /> 28 John Witkis - Continued fromT June 18, 1987 <br /> Mr. Varkonda stated specifics on the retaining wall were requested at <br /> the previous meeting. Mr. Varkonda stated the Building Inspector forwarded <br /> to Mr. Witkis a letter, approving plans as submitted for lots 1421-1425 <br /> Cayuga, and stated he has received a copy of this letter. <br /> HEARING CLOSED - ORDER of CONDITIONS WITHIN 21 DAYS <br /> At this time Mr. Varkonda commented a letter and references have been <br /> forwarded to this Commission from Mr. James Pavllk, Engineer, requesting <br /> the Board to consider him as a consultant to the Conservation Commission. <br /> VOTE: Motion rude and seconded to request in writing, to the Town <br /> of Mashpee Selectmen, that Mr. Pablick be appointed to the Conservation <br /> Commission as an Associate member. <br /> 8.30 - Robert & Teresa Mortimer - Request for a determination of applica- <br /> bility <br /> pplica- <br /> bility on a proposal to renovate the existing house, garage and storage <br /> -shed at 11 Captains Row, Pirates Cove. <br /> Ms. Teresa Mortimer and Mr. Schopfer,, Architect, were in attendance <br /> representing this request. <br /> Ms. B hrm n stated anon-site inspection was performed. <br /> Ms. Mortimer stated the original contractor hired for this project <br /> did not follow the proper procedures of the Town By-Laws and stated shortly <br /> thereafter a stop work order was issued by the Building Inspector. s. <br /> Mortimer stated she has contacted various departments at the Town Hall in <br /> order that the correct procedures are followed. She stated the Board of <br /> health has signed off on the building pewit and has also filed with the <br /> Board of appeals for a Variance. <br /> Mr. Varkonda stated there is a seawall at the location with a set of <br /> steps and -stated the seawall has been breached. He stated there is a dock <br /> in place at the site. Mr. Varkonda questioned Ms. Mortimer as to her inten- <br /> tions with the seawall . <br /> Mr. Schopfer stated he would like to rebuild the wall or remove it. <br /> M . Varkonda stated that would be considered an alteration and would <br /> call for a full notice of intent. <br />
