MINUTES July 2, 1987 CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Ms. Behrn stated there is a concern with future run-off from <br /> the house. <br /> t <br /> Mr. Schopfer stated partial pieces of the concrete under the deck <br /> have been removed. He stated the only real alteration 'that has taken <br /> Place is the breezeway. He explained that the bulk of the backyard <br /> was originally concrete steps, walkways, etc. and reiterated stating <br /> all that has been removed is parts of the concrete area, to allow for <br /> run-off under the deck. <br /> 1r. Rosenburg questioned Mr. Schopfer as to which parts of the <br /> walkway that are still existing. <br /> [fir. Schopler explained, part of the walk exists under the deep, <br /> from the deck to the steps. <br /> Mr, Burns questioned the purpose of the chicken wire around the <br /> Perimeter of the deck. <br /> Mr. Schopfer explained it was placed there to deter rodents from <br /> entering under the deck. <br /> Nor, Schopfer stated they are intending to remove the sidewalk and <br /> construct a deck step. He stated gravel will be placed under the deck <br /> to draw some of the water out through the deck. <br /> 1r. Burns asked Mr. Schopfer is the l acarian driveway will remain. <br /> Mr. Schopfer stated ,yes. <br /> Ms. Ferriday questioned Mr. Schopfer if the replacement of the old <br /> roof has taken place. <br /> Mr. Schopfer stated areas of the roof that needed immediate a ten-- <br /> tion have been replaced and stated the area above the breezeway rest be <br /> reworked due to a large amount of water buildup. He stated the water will <br /> be pitched to the sides. <br /> Nis. Mortimer stated as of yet, the building permits have not been <br /> obtained, t this time Mr. Schopfer presented a full set ofplans. ) <br /> Mr. varfonda stated one one of the plans presented there is an in- <br /> accurate reading of the mean low and high water naris. <br /> YOTE: Motion rade and seconded to issue a Negative Determination with <br /> the stipulation that this apply only landward of the house, any <br /> exterior work seaward of the house, including work completed by <br /> the previous bu i lder, without an 'Order of Conditions" shall be <br /> required to apply for a notice of intent. <br /> 4 - Rich Realty Trust - To construct a single family dwelling garage <br /> r e <br /> and driveway at lot 59 Surf Drive. <br />
