Mashpee Conservation Cor. ision <br /> Meeting of August 2 , 1987 <br /> Page 4* <br /> New Seabury Corp.� Continued , Jim Pavelick speaking: The fence is- <br /> already <br /> salready instal led and they were requested to file by the Conservation <br /> officer, The fence is wire mesh/wood slat and when sand is picked up <br /> by the wind, the fence prevents it blowing around and builds up a► sand <br /> deposit behind it. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stated she was going to write a► letter concerning the <br /> dune grass already growing and moving the fence seaward to protect the <br /> grass from foot traffic, etc, <br /> Mr. Berns stated the cuss is growing on the beach side of the fence <br /> and asked if the fence is going to be mored 10 fee t. Mr. Pavel ick ad- <br /> vised this is correct, Mr. Burns suggested keeping it on the water <br /> side of the salt grass . <br /> John suggested if moved out, they consider planting beach grass <br /> there as it grows best with a 3 inch cover of sand per year. If an <br /> area needs to be reseeded, he suggested use of three stem clumps on <br /> 12 inch centers. For the Commission's information he advised this i <br /> subject to a Wetlands restriction order however, this type of activity <br /> s allowable, <br /> HEMING CLOSED ORDER OF CONDITIONS WITHIN 21 DAYS, <br /> Mac, Brown offered an apology for the oversightof the Engineering <br /> staff in not filing prior to being asked. <br /> 8 :30 Barnstable Holding Co. Dacey Homes feels they could make this <br /> attractive, The Board of Bear has been there and agrees it is a <br /> hazard and referred hint to the Conservation Commission, <br />' John stated t et' are San rade and lues not feel they come under <br /> the jurisdiction of the Commission, however, they should be fenced <br /> in as a hazard. <br /> Mr. Burns suggested the pipes be moved to the other side of the <br /> street where they would not be a hazard. Mr. Slarinsky stated the <br /> subdivision did not include the area. - <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to issue a Negative Determination <br /> to Barnstable Holding Co. <br /> Stanley De browski (Cape & Islands Surveying)For the construct- <br /> ion of a single family residence and septic system at Lot 2 Monamo s cot' <br /> Road.
