Conservation commission <br /> Meeting of March 24,, 1988 <br /> Page 7. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg inquired what was on top of the tank and was told shell . There <br /> is a small concrete pad just over the tank, nothing major. <br /> Mr. Brown stated new plans will be provided. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated there should be a report from the installer as to the con- <br /> dition of the tarn , what was done and a final as-built inspection. Mr. Brown <br /> agreed. . There is $20,000 in the conservation Fund available for opinions <br /> of value. There was d i s c u s s i ori of the five parcels. <br /> Mrs. i arst rs stated it was a waste of money to get an opinion if the owners <br /> do not want -to sell . <br /> VOTE:. Mot i o.1 made and seconded to authorize the expenditure of up to $10,,000 <br /> for opinions of value for the purpose of the annual Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> May Marsters abstained. <br /> �c�k <br /> The comm i s s i ori discussed the suggestion made that the 4-wheel vehicle be shared <br /> with the Board of Health. Question was raised of who would oversee the vehicle <br /> maintenance, etc. <br /> It was s ug ae sted a common pool under the jurisdiction f the DPW would provide <br /> a better distribution of cars. A log should .be kept of the requests to sub- <br /> stantiate the needs of various departments. The chairman will write a memo <br /> to the Selectmen and Finance Committee suggesting a general outline. <br /> The Chairman advised that one issue at the Selectmen ' s en ' s Meeting was that 8% of <br /> town lard was in quasi-public land.
