Mr. McAskill advised the house is 22 years old. No bedrooms are to be added. The dwelling is at elevation 10.66, within the buffer zone and flood zone. The crawl space fo ndaiton will comply with FIA regulations,. A variance has been received from Board of Appeals. Staked haybales are proposed. Also shown are drywells. For the revegetation of slope between Santu I t Pond and Bldg. 7, including temporary erosion control ; planting of indigenous trees, shrubs and groundcover; and monitoring stump regeneration at Beechwood Point. Mr. Burbank stated their interest tonight is to request of the Board that the start-up work be authorized to allow immediate action to the disturbed slope. The rest of the action outlined in the Notice of intent is subject to further review, They would like to go back to the Planning Board next week to get some sort of relief for the developer so that work on the balance of the project t can resume. Ms Behrman stated the bond amount would have to be coordinated with the Planning Board and suggested that estimates be filed with the Town Planner and they con- tact on-tact him for the nave of the consultant. Mr. Burbank spoke about the fungicide, the methodology outlined in the Notice of Intent. They will not be planting until Spring. The Soo units of American Beech had to be dug by April 3rd and are no longer available* Container planting at the edge of the pond can be done anytime. Mr, Coffey asked him to elaborate on the sure scald issue. Mr. Burbankstated this depends not only on time but the weather conditions. Mrs, Marsters asked, if planting next Spring because of the Beeches, could they revegetate before that with something else. He stated they could, depending on the direction of the Board and Planning Board. Ms Behrman stated there is existing root structure and there will be growba k. Mrs. Marsters stated, then what is being said is there is not going to be signif- icant effect whether they replant or not. Ms Behrman stated the Enforcement order could be modified to provide allowance for fungicide to be applied. Lisa stated it is better to wait the year to get this planned out correctly and to use the trees native to the area. Mrs. Marsters stated,, so the bank is going to be stable and not going to wash down into the pond; there is going to be no significant effect on the pond. Ms Behrman stated the odds are the effect will be minimal with some loss of shade. 1r. Coffey asked the size to be replanted and was told 1-2 inch size for Beech which, should go in first. VOTE.
