Conservation. Commission
- November 10, A988
-Fuge 1 .
Ms, Behrman speaking, continued: the-ire. what yo'u' re doing' is
changing the runoff pattern so ..tori property may be' impacted. we could
get an erosion situation also'. Baylog agreed this was possible-. -
Mr. Coffey stated, if contours are going to be modifie{d, they should
all, be treated the sAme way,
Pyr. Lindholm stated he would .like to be- clear on the grading issue,
has additional information been requested?
Lisa stated the Commission would like to know the erosion effects from
the fill , they are changing the topography. How are they going to
stabilize it to prevent erosion from entering the wetland and
impacting gn abutting lots?
Pointing to the plan, Ms Behrman stated, - your current dflaknage
direction is this way`, your proposed fill is going to funnel runoff
that way.' You ire changing your impacts there and changing 'the
direction of water _and potentiall'y ausi.n impact on the .abutting
property. This is in the resource area and l think we have legitimate
concerns.
Mr. Lindholm stated. -so-,yo'u want an under'stan'ding of runoff at 'this
point here. Ms Behiman added, and the amount of runoff' going 'do'wn
there.
Mrs. Jacobson stated, or, if there was a consideration of less fill on
the combination -of the three lots.
r
Ms Behrman stated if
they could change the angle f the house they
could' pull the bulge- out.
Ir. Lindholm asked if that -was being made a condition. Mr. Burns
stated no, that' s Just information,
Ms Behrman asked, can you come up with someth ing l i ke that -that works?
If not, we' 11 consider the application as it is. I am suggesting t
you it is possible to lessen the impacts on the site by changing the
angle of the structure and putting down ' the amount. of fill .' Again, in
this area, it will be interesting to -.,see what the land subject -to ',.".,
flooding lines are,
Mr. Lindholm stated Way, -but- more specifically* in teams of the
impact on the Wetland Act , in terns of drainage is the major consider-
ation erosion?
Lisa stated yes, again, everything that was on' the other two' .
Mr. Lindholm stated in addition to , the five other . ndit#ons, the -
topics of additional information w discussed at the o her two lots,
which has come up at tis lot is we want an understanding o . the
drainage at this point`,, Ms Behrman added, and any mitigating -measurwe
proposed to be undertaken to cut down the impact.
lir. Lindholm stated, if there' s a spot condition there. Okays, I under-
stand.
Ms Behrman stated and is it possible to change the angle o,f the house }
