Vi les , Jr , for a Determination of Applicability
on a proposal to replace an existing roofed porch with a 20 ft.
7 ft , open deck at 31 Starboard Lane .
Mr . Sherman pointed out the porch will remain and th.e new deck will
be added .
The request was reviewed .
VOTE : Motion made and seconded to issue a Negative Determination .
NEGATIVE DETERMINATION .
9 : 00 New Seabury Corp . ( BSC Group for the removal of vegetation
and excavation of organic soils from three upland isolated shrub
swamps to create three ponds and to construct a portion of the
Seauarters v complex within the buffer area of one of the swamps
at New Seabury Golf course . Norman Hayes presenting .
Ms Behrman stated she did not see any staking at the on-site . It
is proposed to alter three wetlands and there is no too .
Mr , Burns pointed out they have thea on the wrong side ofthe road
on the plans *
r . Hayes asked the Commission to tell hire what they want and he
will go back and get it .
Mrs . Simmons stated all the buildings must be staked .
Nis Behrman pointed out there are a lot of vernal P o l s in there .
Mr, Hayes asked if they have been certified by the Natural ural Heritae'
Ms Behrman stated this will be researched , Mosquito control people
will observe whether there are vernal pools or not . The extent of
the project close to a wetland area will require onsite verific-
ation . A consultant will have to be hired and the same arrangement
made as Bufflehead Bay with an escrow account set up by New Seabury .
This is extremely close to what they are delineating as an existing
wetland . As there were no stakes , the Commission did- not get down
to look at it ; it was a waste of the Commission ' s time , Also , the
wetland vegetation seers to be right up by the road .
Nor .
