Conservation commission June 1 , 1989 Page 14 .- Mrs . Marstrs stated she would be willing to hear 1t and withhold the decision for a week . The Commission agreed . Ms Asmus advised they are snot addin any b d m , one will be tai n out of the enc t i house and put in the addition . The existing septic will be utilized . The house addition is 66 ft . from the top of the coastal bank and will be on a slab foundation ass_ is the current dwelling . The addition will' be at elevation 17 .3 . There will be storage space on the bottom level , no living area underneath . The gravel driveway is to remain and be enlarged . No grades will be changed . Drywells are pro- posed for additional run-off . The swimming pool surrounded on one side by an elevated wooden deck is proposed within 43 feet of the coastal bank . Mr . Rosenberg asked the capacity of the pool and Ms Amus stated it was not calculated . A S X 7 ft . leaching pit is proposed surrounded by 8 feet of crushed stone designed to hold 1 , 680 gallons at a given time . There is no infringement on the 50 foot Conservation easement .. Ha r- bales are proposed . Mrs . Marsters questioned distances from Mean High Water, and asked if a variance to the 50 ft . setback was required . Mr , Rosenberg stated 43 feet from the top of the bank requires a va i,an ce . Ms Asmus was not aware . Mrs . Simmons stated she would Bice to see information on the deck . Ms Asmus stated it will be elevated ori wooden posts Mr . Rosenberg stated this should be on the plans . Ms Asmus stated the pool will be 6-12" off the ground and Mrs . Simmons stated she would like to see how constructed . Mr . Burns advised there are several trees which have to come down and are not mentioned ; this should be addressed on the plans . Mr . Coffey asked if there will be any.- compensatory plantings? Ms Asmus stated no further landscaping is proposed than ghat is there , disturbed areas will be rovetated . Mr . Sherman stated a chlorination system is mentioned , he pointed out an ozone system is looked at more favorably by the Commission . CONTINUED INDEFINITELY , 9 . 00 Briarw od Mashpee Assoc . Sherman stated he had not seen the project and had no comments . Ms Bowman stated the beach has been in existence for 25 years and they are asking n to add sand to an existing beach . 175 yards will add 4- inches to the entire beach .
