Conservation Commission <br /> November 2, 1989 <br /> Pave 4. <br /> 9:00 Leon Rosenberg for a Determination of applicability to establish the edge <br /> of the salt marsh at Lot 255 Popponesset Island Road. Chris Costa of All Cape <br /> Survey Consultant presenting. There is an existing dwelling and dock bordering <br /> on a creel. They are seeking to complete step one in a design phase to document <br /> the edge of the salt marsh. None of the other filings document this; it followed <br /> sea myrtle on the upland edge of the salt marsh. The yellow lines are the <br /> contour lines. <br /> . Sherman stated he had no argument with the wetland delineation. <br /> Mr. Costa advised an addition is planned for the house. <br /> Alfred and Christine thito, abutters, asked how far out. he intends to intrude <br /> on the land into their view. <br /> Pyr. Costa advised Mr. Rosenberg instructed him to take care with the White's <br /> view. He would have to build in the salt marsh to obstruct their view. <br /> Mrs, White asked why the dock had to be so high? Mr, Costa advised this must <br /> be 5 ft. high to allow passage under for the public. <br /> VOTE: Motion grade and seconded to accept the delineation of the salt marsh <br /> as shown on the plan. <br /> POSITIVE DETERMINATION, <br /> 9:15 Florence Wall for a Determination of Applicability on a proposal to <br /> remove an existing sundeck and construct a new addition and sundeck at 146 <br /> Nuri ret Ave. (Florence Wall stood down) . Charles Spohr presented abutter <br /> receipts. The existing dock 12 x 12 is to be removed with all work to be <br /> done by hand. No vegetation is to be touched in the immediate vicinity. <br /> The new foundation will be excavated by hand and any spoil material will be <br /> removed from the site. <br /> I <br /> . Sherman advised the Board of Health stated Title V is in place and he <br /> recommended a Negative determination. <br /> i <br /> Nor. Spousta, an abutter, asked if a survey of the property was part of the <br /> plan. Nor. Sphr stated the property has been surveyed and they have certif- <br /> ication from the architect and surveyor. <br /> . S ousta stated there are no boundary markers. <br /> Mrs. Simmons stated the only requirement of the Commission is that the pro3ect <br /> he staled. <br /> VOTE. Motion rude and seconded to issue a negative determination according <br /> to the plans submitted. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> I <br /> HEARINGS: Mrs. Simmons suggested no hearings be scheduled after 9:00 p.m. <br /> It was agreed an administrative greeting could be held as necessary. <br /> r <br />
