Information on changes slow in coming.
a. Insulation in Blocks .
b. Polystyrene.
c. Waterline Overhead, instead of below slab.
d. Drain and well location.
He stated serious changes have been made to the drawings and the committee
does not have copies of these drawings.
The committee was advised that Mr. Cohen i s contacting the trailer company.
The trailer should have been on the site today*
Ellis advised the overhead water lines do not require a change order. The
changes have been made and have been issued for construction. These drawings
will be provided for the committee at the next meeting.
It was noted a monthly report from the contractor showing the progress on a
chart, compared to the schedule, Is called for on page 14 of the specs. With-
in ten days after work has commenced, the contractor shall submit a progress
schedule. This was received last week. At the end of each month, or more
often if required, he shall furnish the designer and town a schedule of
actual progress of the various parts of the work in comparison with the
original proposed progress schedule.
Ellis stated the Architect's. monthly report will be presented to the comm-
ittee at the next meeting.
Mr. Re proposed a letter to the contractor reminding him that the contents
of the specs alone do not dictate the content of the job. The contract also
applies which states his work shall be in accord with state, federal and
municipal laws and ordinances, whether noted in the specs or not. Thi s
applied- to the question last week of putting gravel on the entrance road
to protect the main road; It was agreed to pay the contractor $200.00 to
do this work. This was in error as the contract states the contractor will
follow all municipal ordinances and the permit he received stated the work
to be done specifically. Any future questions on an item not in the specs
will not be considered when it is covered in the contract.
It was agreed a letter should be written to the contractor,,
