Michael Grotzke presenting. Frozen tidelands have 11-fted pilings and they would like to drive then back with jetting. There are very old licenses for the docks, 1967, and there is maintenance in' the Chapter 91 permit . Mr, Homeyer advised 91 licenses traditionally state the applicant has to main- tain them or lose thea. Mr. Grotzke stated it is only proposed to drive them back to here -they were. Shellfish has no problem with this. Mr. Horneyer asked if they could be driven instead of jetting them? He requested that- the pilings be driven wherever possible instead of Jetting. Mr, Grotzke agreed, Mr. Crotke advised they are in the upland portion and it is hard to get a barge or crane in there. It is sand jetting, Rich York did not feel siltation fences would be helpful, It was agreed to permit maintenance in perpetuity and the determination will be recorded.
