NEW BUSINESS:
1. Correspondence
Inc
Board of Appeals
Public Hearing Notice— 14 April
Mr. Hanks reported that included in this will be a continuation of the West dock
question. Mr, Hanks stated that he drafted a letter to the Board of Appeals, but he never
sent it. He pointed out that he had spoken with DEP and Mr. West, contrary to him saying
he did it by phone, appears to be obligated to file an amendment to his e istm' g dock
hermit. Mr, Hanks went on to say that Mr. West has submitted plans to the Board of
Appeals that have an engineering stamp on there. Mr. Hanks pointed out that when you
look at the plans and you go up to the corner where the dock information is,they say `not
to scale". The dock and ramp specifications are not stamped as required by the Board of
Appeals. Mr. Hanks stated he is not clear where vire stand in this matter. He asked the
Commission's opinion on whether to send the letter to the Board of Appeals pointing out
that he is obligated to talk to the State. Mr. Hanks said another alternative would be to
send it to Mr, West stating that he is obligated to file and send him a copy of the form he
needs to fill out.
Mr. Silver suggested that Mr. Hanks send Mr.West the letter and copy all the
interestcd parties. Nor. Hanks said that sounded fine to hire and the Commission agreed,
Conservation Commission
Agenda 8 April
DEP
Waterways License Application No. W96-6438, 26 Mar 99, McLeod, 81
econsett Island lid--Maintain riprap and marine railway ctd.
Waterways License Application No. W999-9529&92602,April 99,Norling, Bibo
Bibo} 18 and 22 Quaker Run Rd.,pier dock and float.
Falmouth Harbormaster Dept,
April 99 offer of support for personal watercraft ban on Ashumet pond.
Falmouth banned personal watercraft on Ashumet in 1989.
Office of Town Administrator
5 April Memo from.Kathleen Harold re Cmast February bill supporting details.
6
