f William Taylor suggested some changes in the wording of several parts of the presented minutes. In paragraph # 1 under the Harborinasters Report, the words "bidding out" should be replaced with "seeking bids". Also, in the first paragraph under 3 . Committee Reports, a. Fresh Water, should read, "there was no Lake Management meeting" . The last change suggested was on the last page under OTHER, third paragraph should read. "Army Corps of Engineers" . William Daly rade a motion to amend the minutes as suggested.. Donald Lund seconded the motion, All members voted in favor of the amendment, William Taylor made a motion to accept the minutes as amended. OLD BUSINESS Harbormaster Report - Perry Ellis Mr. Ellis stated., "things are buttoned up tight" according to the Coast Guard regarding the ice conditions . We have lost quite a few docks and pilings due to the ice, Ockway Bay, in particular, has quite a few docks that are literally standing up out of the water. We are going to have to work with conservation as seem as possible to get these docks put back in before they create a navigational hazard.. There are other areas, in New seabury and Shoestring Bay that also were hit, although not as severe as Ockway Bay. The Boat Bids have come back. The new lake boat will be a 17' Carolina. B Skiff and we are buying the boat for $5, 000 . A 50-horse 171 outboard has been bought from the OMC Government sale for an undisclosed amount . we also have acquired a. Bosuns }goat trailer for $879, The total replacement cost of the boat engine and trailer, a 50-house, four-stroke outboard is $9, 219M Cape Marine worm the bid for the replacement engine on the _.boat we had at Johns Pond last year. It is a 2, 000 model, 75#- o re e f<)ur{ ro.4,/ Mercur outboard for the sum of $4, 950. This is a government safe price also .
