f <br /> William Taylor suggested some changes in the wording of <br /> several parts of the presented minutes. In paragraph # 1 <br /> under the Harborinasters Report, the words "bidding out" <br /> should be replaced with "seeking bids". Also, in the first <br /> paragraph under 3 . Committee Reports, a. Fresh Water, <br /> should read, "there was no Lake Management meeting" . The <br /> last change suggested was on the last page under OTHER, <br /> third paragraph should read. "Army Corps of Engineers" . <br /> William Daly rade a motion to amend the minutes as <br /> suggested.. Donald Lund seconded the motion, All members <br /> voted in favor of the amendment, William Taylor made a <br /> motion to accept the minutes as amended. Donald Lund <br /> seconded the motion and all other commission members voted <br /> in favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Harbormaster Report - Perry Ellis <br /> Mr. Ellis stated., "things are buttoned up tight" <br /> according to the Coast Guard regarding the ice <br /> conditions . We have lost quite a few docks and <br /> pilings due to the ice, Ockway Bay, in <br /> particular, has quite a few docks that are <br /> literally standing up out of the water. We are <br /> going to have to work with conservation as seem as <br /> possible to get these docks put back in before <br /> they create a navigational hazard.. <br /> There are other areas, in New seabury and <br /> Shoestring Bay that also were hit, although not as <br /> severe as Ockway Bay. <br /> The Boat Bids have come back. The new lake boat <br /> will be a 17' Carolina. B Skiff and we are buying <br /> the boat for $5, 000 . A 50-horse 171 outboard has <br /> been bought from the OMC Government sale for an <br /> undisclosed amount . we also have acquired a. <br /> Bosuns }goat trailer for $879, The total <br /> replacement cost of the boat engine and trailer, a <br /> 50-house, four-stroke outboard is $9, 219M <br /> Cape Marine worm the bid for the replacement engine <br /> on the _.boat we had at Johns Pond last year. It is <br /> a 2, 000 model, 75#- o re e f<)ur{ ro.4,/ Mercur <br /> outboard for the sum of $4, 950. This is a <br /> government safe price also . <br />
