Mr. Silver reported that he had been out doing some water testing and had found the <br /> bay to be"absolutely delightful'' and everything appeared to be in order with the <br /> exception of a situation in P opp onesset Creek where a dock had pulled away from its <br /> mooring with a 25' Grady white attached to it. After investigating it, Mr. Silver <br /> reported the situation to harbormaster, Perry Ellis, who promptly attended to it. <br /> There is nothing much more to report in the area. There does appear to be a lot of <br /> building going on in ockway Bay. The pilings that had been damaged through the <br /> winter season have been fixed and everything is looking calm and collected. <br /> Mash pee watershed o rr mi"ttee Update W--Herb Silver and Jiro Hanks <br /> Mr, Silver gave the update for this committee stating that there had been a meeting <br /> held on May 23rd where there was a discussion with Patti Kellogg who is the Cape <br /> Cod Basin Team. Leader. This organization has contacts with the right groups to <br /> obtain grants. The group also manages water testing. Ms. Kellogg sent their meeting <br /> schedule to the watershed Management Committee via e-mail. <br /> New Seabury Beach Replenishing Project Discussion --Herb Silver <br /> Mr, Silver reported that he talked with engineer Bob Hamilton regarding what, if <br /> anything, was going on with this group and he stated that it had "fallen apart} for <br /> numerous reasons including a lacy of funding, but was in the process of forming <br /> again. Mr. Hamilton said that he would let the WWC know when the meetings <br /> started up again. Herb suggested that we remove this item from the agenda. <br /> Chairman, Jim Hanks} along with fellow commission members agreed. <br /> w agno it ,Day Area —,ling Hanks <br /> Mr. Hanks reported that pilings have also been replaced in this area as well. There <br /> has been increasing boat traffic due to the arrival of the summer season. Jim distributed a copy of the public <br /> hearing statement that he read for the record at last nights hearing. After giving the <br /> commission member a chance to read the statement Jing asked if anyone had any <br /> further co'm'ments or anything to add or detract from tonight's discussion on the <br /> nutter.
